Fall is just around the corner, and its time to layer and start wearing darker colors. Black and white will definitely be a big theme this coming Autumn, as demonstrated in this wonderful Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2011 Runway Collection during Paris Fashion Week.

Leather shorts have become quite the hing this summer and that trend will take on more stride when s/s 2012 comes around. Here is a photo tribute to the leather short and to the fashion bloggers that sport them oh so well.

Pairing these babies with pale and gentle top definitely softens up the look. I myself wanted a pair and so I went thrifting and took some leather pants and cut them to shorts. Total cost: 12$ for REAL leather shorts! Simply for fake leather you could easily be forking up 100$ For real ones, up to 300$ if you're thinking designer. DIY is definitely the way to go.

I believe this style will be a big hit next summer, as it has already started this season. I managed to snag myself a cute pair of vintage hippie pants at the thrift store, how more authentic hippie can you get? I don't have a picture of them just yet, but this is somewhat what they look like.

Ah yes... it is now almost 4 am and I have to get up at 7 because I am working a 12 hour shift at the shoe store tomorrow... fml? meh I should have known better not to go to the Casino (lost 25$) if I was working the next morning. Anyways here are 2 pairs of Jeffrey Capbell style wedges that I bought from work for a mere 25$ each(!!!?) Hooray for employee discount! Paired the sandals with a black maxi and a jean jacket and voila! Near perfection. Hopefully I'll get an outfit pic of this outfit soon.
